What is a web log?
>> Tuesday, November 3, 2009
One of the best things about the internet is a web log that is really a web log: a kind of review in some form (list, etc.) of what the writer locates while on the web. A trace of travels, maybe. Here are some for today, at random.
REGARDS is a new photography review published on the web and in hard copy by some people in Perpignan, France, which is the home to the annual Visa documentary photography convention and exhibitions. At first glance (or regard), I have to say that Juliette was right to point the way to this site.
At almost the same moment that Juliette tossed me REGARDS, she emailed me the link to EVERYDAY TAI CHI, a good web site devoted to Tai Chi. For anyone who knows nothing and wants to know more, this seems to be a good place to begin. Even if you never plan to actually spend time learning the exercises and devoting yourself to keeping fit that way, it's not a bad thing to know something about. As a beginner vegetarian, of course, I am interested in the slow and non-aggressive approach to basic things, such as exercise and breathing and how my muscles and organs and, well, my whole being could be functioning better.
